If you've ever bought or sold a house with an FPE (federal pacific electric) panel then you know that they're a very expensive problem to fix. We had to replace one as part of the sales contract on our 60s house and I was not looking forward to shelling out close to 2K on a very unsexy repair.​​

Well, thank the dear sweet baby jesus for Jimmy Pittman! He replaced our panel AND put in a ton of GFCI (ground fault interrupter) circuits for less than half of what other electricians were quoting just to replace the panel. I almost fainted when he gave us his bid, plus the finished work is first class.

​

Oh, and did I mention that he's just about the sweetest old school dude you'll ever meet? We left him a key so he could fix the panel while we were out of town and he even brought in our mail!

I like him so much I'm already planning to hire him to replace yet another FPE panel in the house we just bought.
